Search Marketing Arena is a Search Marketing Q&A site that's free. Free to ask questions, free to answer questions, free to read and free to contribute. You don't need an account to start using the site. However, you can register if you want to collect reputation and gain badges that will demonstrate your skills.

Why is it different?

Search Marketing Arena is not a forum, is not a wiki and is not a blog. It's a mixture of the best features from all these platforms. Search Marketing Arena is built on Stack Exchange, the same platform behind other well known Q&A sites such as StackOverflow, Server Fault and Super User.

You can ask your questions or post your answer to other users' questions like in a classic forum. Everybody can votes questions and the best can be flagged as authoritative.

Questions and answers are similar to wiki pages. You can edit them or contribute to other questions according to your reputation. The higher is your reputation score, the wider is the range of features you have access to. Search Marketing Arena is collaboratively built and maintained by your fellow users. Once the system learns to trust you, you'll be able to edit anything.

And what about badges? Badges are like medals, awarded to active users.
