What's your favorite SEO tool and why?

Here are the rules of the game:

  • you can post only one tool. choose carefully
  • it can be either a web based or desktop tool
  • it must be somehow related to SEO (beware that SEM tools don't necessary fit the SEO field)

+1 for Xenu. Unfortunately there's no valid replacement for MacOSX. Xenu rocks. – weppos Oct 15 at 7:30
it runs on linux using wine, but not 100% – must Oct 15 at 11:22
Looks like the makers of Integrity shut their site down :( – David Rivers Jul 28 at 21:05

The keywords combination tool at Ranks.nl. It's very useful if you need ti build a keyword list starting from 2 or 3 lists. I use it in travel related keyword search in order to combine the name of the city and specific keywords like hotel, holiday, etc...

WebCEO. The Ranking feature is awesome but there are also a couple of other features such as the competitor comparison that deserves a try. I use it every day to monitor my SEO activities and my clients.

Google's Keyword Tool. Being able to see near-exact counts of how many searches people are doing for different keywords each month is awesome, and essential for making keyword decisions.

My favorite tool is Search Status. It’s an amazing tool. We can analyze complete website performance like keyword density analysis, indexing page analysis, link report, sitemap, robots txt, alexa rank, whois lookup and moz rank etc.

My Brain .... hire me ;) and you'll never regret.

SEO it's not a software, it's a strategy ... you can't do SEO only with a tool.

You need experience, passion, knowledge and background.

I guess my passion wouldn't be really helpful to check the ranking position for 100 keywords on Google... – weppos Nov 27 at 16:16
if you put in this terms ... you just need Google Analytics and the engine's webmaster tools. ;) – Fabio Schenone Nov 30 at 10:22
